Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work within our hospital facility, providing a collaborative atmosphere where healthcare professionals work together to support patient recovery. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that supports work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.
• Provide direct, hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training designed to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate records are maintained to track improvements and adjust therapy interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients about their specific rehabilitation exercises and activities intended to promote healing and autonomy.
• Engage in regular communication with the healthcare team, including physical therapists, physicians, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and address any patient concerns.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy when appropriate to alleviate discomfort and maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Actively contribute to occupational health initiatives aimed at improving overall workforce wellness within the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient clientele encompasses individuals of all ages experiencing a range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and rehabilitation following traumatic incidents. Your role as a PTA is crucial in building trusting relationships with patients, empowering them during their recovery journeys, and helping them achieve their personal health and mobility goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Possession of a currently active Physical Therapist Assistant state license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant is essential.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and applicable medical terminology to enhance patient care quality.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, aiding patients in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
