Director of Psychology

Roles and Responsibilities for this Role Include Clinical Supervision and Support: Oversee respective services and ensure integration with broader clinical programs. Serve as a resource for complex case consultations. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between their discipline and other clinical professionals. Participate in departmental and institutional committees. Workforce Planning: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for their respective disciplines. Evaluate and optimize staffing models. Complete annual performance reviews for respective members within clinical discipline. Educational Leadership: Coordinate training programs for interns. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the department’s strategic initiatives, including program growth and service expansion. Provide input on resource allocation and budget planning for their areas. Review capacity, access, and productivity metrics for area. Communication: Serve as a representative for their discipline in departmental leadership meetings. Disseminate critical information to their teams and provide feedback to leadership. Research Collaboration: Facilitate involvement in departmental research initiatives. Encourage grant applications and publications from respective team. Quality Assurance and Policy: Develop and monitor quality assurance programs for respective services. Collaborate on policies impacting respective practice within the department. System Initiatives: Serve as a representative for the discipline in system-wide Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health and Integrated Care initiatives, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and contributing to the development and implementation of integrated care strategies.
