We are committed to excellence and facilitating the growth and development of both staff and students. Our focus is to provide an accessible, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for children 6 weeks and older in a nurturing environment. Our instruction focuses on language and communication development through participation in exploration, play and socialization opportunities, activities of daily living, and evidence-based curriculum activities.

A floating teacher is responsible for assisting teachers as needed to cover absences, naps, clean classrooms and common areas, and spend time facilitating peer interaction and socialization during play.

This position will be filled by a part-time employee with a shift that meets Center needs.

• Eligible to work in the United States
• GED or higher
• 6 months or more of experience in a licensed childcare facility (preferred but not required)
• Be 18 years of age.
• Provide a record of immunizations and a health screening questionnaire.
• Must clear state and federal background checks and pass a health screening.
• Have an issued form of identification

Experience working with children.

• All staff will have access to center meals and snacks while working, paid annual professional development hours, paid initial and ongoing CPR training, and training in behavior management and curriculum implementation.

  Hourly pay is commensurate with related experience, training, and education.
