OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Job Description

A growing Waste & Recycling company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Route Supervisor to oversee daily collection operations, driver performance, safety, and route efficiency. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing people, operations, and problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:


• Supervise daily route operations and driver performance
• Coordinate schedules, dispatch, and operational needs to ensure excellent customer service
• Monitor productivity, attendance, safety, and compliance standards
• Investigate service issues, safety concerns, and operational challenges while implementing solutions
• Support route efficiency improvements and operational performance goals
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting
• Lead, coach, and motivate drivers while fostering a positive team environment


What We’re Looking For:


• Experience in transportation, logistics, waste/recycling, trucking, or operations supervision preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Safety-minded with a focus on accountability and customer service
• CDL preferred but not required
