Electrical Designer *(m/w/d) Wiring Diagram

Wiring Diagram review & verification Check aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and interconnection drawings for accuracy and completeness Verify wire routing, pin-to-pin connectivity, signal flow, grounding, and shielding Ensure correct wire types, gauges, colors, splices, connectors, and terminations are specified Validate logical consistency between system schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings Standards & Compliance Ensure compliance with EWIS regulations and standards (e.g., FAA/EASA, ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-160, AS50881). Verify adherence to company engineering standards, customer requirements, and aircraft configuration control. Support certification and audit activities by providing verified documentation. Configuration & Change Management Check wiring changes resulting from engineering change orders (ECOs/ECNs). Ensure correct effectivity, revision control, and traceability across all wiring documents. Coordinate with electrical designers and system engineers to resolve discrepancies. Quality & Issue Resolution Identify errors, omissions, and conflicts in wiring data. Document findings and provide clear feedback for correction. Support root cause analysis and prevention of recurring wiring documentation issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Electrical Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, Manufacturing, Installation, and Quality teams. Support production, installation, and maintenance troubleshooting related to wiring documentation. Qualifications You hold a diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or related field (or equivalent experience) You are experienced in aircraft electrical wiring design, checking, or installation You have strong knowledge of aircraft wiring practices and EWIS principles and you can read and interpretelectrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pin-outs You are familiar with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements You have knowledge of wiring design tools such asCATIA Electrical, Capital, AutoCAD Electrical or Zuken E3 You are a team player who can also work independently Contract & Benefits Contract type: Permanent employment contract, 30 days of vacation, in-house collective agreement Compensation: Vacation and Christmas bonuses, travel expenses covered for events.
