Standards Compliance Department is seeking an interested Registered Nurse to fulfill duties of HSS-SNF Regularory Compliance Coordinator on permanent, full-time basis. Under the direction of the Supervising Registered Nurse/Risk Management and Program Quality Assurance Coordinator, HSS-Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing various mechanisms to achieve federal and state compliance in Skilled Nursing units. What you’ll do: Expertly guide Skilled Nursing Program to assure state and federal regulatory compliance Research and interpret federal and state regulations for Long Term Care Serve as a Lead Facilitator during state and federal surveys Coordinate development and detailed Plans of Correction Conduct audits, clinical tracers, and mock surveys Lead performance improvement efforts, e.g. root cause analyses improvement (QAPI) projects and meetings And other activities related to maintaining Skilled Nursing Program’s regulatory compliance; please refer to Duty Statement for more detailed information To be considered for this Job Opportunity, applicants must have eligibility by way of: permanent civil service status, be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility.
