Job Title: HR Manager
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a HR Manager to join our client to partner closely with leadership and drive effective people management across the organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to supervisors and managers, helping them navigate employee relations matters and day to day workforce challenges. The HR Manager will focus on resolving complex issues, supporting leadership decisions, and ensuring consistent application of HR practices. This is an onsite, contract to hire opportunity based in Seymour, Indiana.
Compensation:
$40 to $50 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, flexible hours
Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:
• Guide supervisors and managers through employee relations matters, coaching conversations, and performance related concerns
• Oversee time and attendance issues, ensuring concerns are reviewed, addressed, and resolved consistently
• Support and evaluate promotion and compensation increase requests in partnership with leadership
• Act as a hands on HR partner who takes ownership of complex people issues and drives resolution
• Gather and assess information, then collaborate with senior leadership to determine appropriate outcomes and next steps
Qualifications and Skills for the HR Manager:
• Demonstrated experience in an HR management or senior HR business partner role
• Strong knowledge of core HR practices including employee relations, performance management, and compliance fundamentals
• Proven ability to advise and influence leaders while building trust across teams
• Confident communicator with a practical, solutions focused approach and strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with talent acquisition concepts, with the ability to collaborate effectively with recruiting partners
