Pet Insurance Sales Associate - Richmond, VA

Position We are currently seeking a Pet Insurance Sales Associate to join our amazing team at the Richmond Animal League in Richmond, VA. Must be goal‑oriented, focus on converting opportunities into sales, delighting customers, listening to their needs, and creating the best outcome. Responsibilities Represent Fetch as a confident, friendly, trusted advisor to sell pet insurance policies at partner location. Communicate competitive advantages of Fetch; demonstrate a deep understanding of Fetch and competitor pet health insurance products. Turn prospects into loyal clients, raving fans, and repeat customers. Accurately record prospect and customer information in Fetch CRM. Establish and maintain professional relationships with key personnel at partner locations to meet monthly objectives. Proactively assess partner needs via onsite focus and follow‑up meetings. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for new business. Communicate with peers via chat to identify challenges and successes. Virtually attend mandatory monthly company meetings or check‑ins. Manage expense budget and submit reports monthly. Handle all administrative tasks related to the partnership. Live up to Fetch’s commitment to continuously exceed customer expectations. Skills & Qualifications Structure work week during peak hours (Friday–Sunday) which are most lucrative. Must have an active P&C license or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of employment. Proven self‑starter with 3–5 years of experience in an animal care role. Must be energized by being an industry pioneer. Passion for prospecting new sales opportunities daily; must enjoy face‑to‑face interactions. Familiarity with animal health or animal welfare a plus. Must think and act independently within a fast‑paced sales cycle. Proven success building relationships using a consultative, solution‑focused approach. Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand Fetch’s customers’ needs. Willing to travel to industry events as required. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Excellent team player; proven ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking.
