The world-class driving experience is now open to members. Summary/Objective The Concours Club is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role supports key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Month-End Close, and Journal Entries, while also assisting with financial statement preparation and accounting research. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining reliable financial records and supporting timely accounting processes. Roles & Job Responsibilities Ensure financial data from invoices is entered correctly and accurately into Jonas Club Accounting software. Classify expenses to the proper account based on the Chart of Accounts and direction from the Corporate Controller. Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and receipts and resolve any discrepancies. Route invoices to the appropriate departments for approval and follow up to ensure timely payment. Prepare scheduled weekly payment listings for approval. Maintain prepaid and auto-pay Accounts Payable accounts. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or discrepancies and to internal inquiries related to Accounts Payable activity. Reconcile vendor statements and research and correct discrepancies. Verify new vendor information, including federal identification numbers and accurate W-9 Forms; review purchase orders and resolve discrepancies. Assist with accounting records and audits in areas related to Accounts Payable and ensure successful monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities. Post Journal entries as part of the month-end closing. Treasury items including ACH and wire processing. Assist with other projects or general office support. Requirements Skills & Qualification Requirements: Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems. Basic mathematical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Ability to verbally communicate in a professional and effective manner Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Must be 18 years of age or older Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 1-3 years of general accounting work preferred. Work Environment This job is performed usually indoors and outdoors, in a controlled environment, and experiences a high level of noise in the work environment. This job has intermittent levels of high stress. Physical Demands While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer. The position may also require lifting, stooping, bending, reaching, and carrying items weighing 15 pounds or more. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
