You will work directly with small business owners and high net worth individuals, gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of returns and planning engagements. What you'll do: Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns Support tax planning and advisory work for closely held businesses and HNW clients Research tax issues and assist with notices and filings Work alongside senior staff and partners who are invested in your development What we're looking for: 1 or more years of public accounting tax experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA‑track preferred) Solid understanding of individual and business taxation Strong attention to detail and a client‑service mindset Ability to work fully onsite in Birmingham, AL What's offered: Base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience Competitive benefits and clear advancement opportunities Direct mentorship from experienced partners A stable, well‑regarded firm with a loyal client base Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply confidentially.
