As an RDH here, you arent just cleaning teeth—you’re a frontline educator and a vital partner in our clinical success. Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), root planing, and scaling.
• Patient Assessment: Conduct initial screenings, review medical histories, and perform oral cancer screenings.
• Radiography: Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos to assist the Dentist in diagnosis.
• Education: Empower patients with personalized oral hygiene instructions (brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
• Clinical Support: Apply sealants and fluoride treatments; assist the Dentist during complex procedures when necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and treatment plans in our practice management software.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current state license to practice dental hygiene and CPR certification.
• Technical Savvy: Experience with digital X-rays and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
• Soft Skills: A gentle touch and a friendly, professional bedside manner to help alleviate patient anxiety.
