Core Responsibilities Blueprint & Layout Interpretation: Read and scale complex mechanical drawings, blueprints, and isometric specifications to plan the layout of pipe systems in the field Pipe Fabrication: Measure, cut, and bevel pipes (using tools like angle grinder or saw) to fit required angles and dimensions Assembly & Installation: Join pipe sections and fittings using welding or threaded joints. Install and secure piping systems using clamps, brackets, and hangers. Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA and job-site safety standards, particularly when dealing with hazardous chemicals or high-pressure systems Required Skills & Qualifications Mechanical & Technical Skills: High proficiency in understanding welding (e.g. pipe welding) and the ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery.
