PUCT, Administrative & Project Services Manager (Manager VII)

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and Office of Policy and Docket Management has an opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee administrative operations and support functions to help ensure the efficient flow of the division's daily work. Administrative and Project Services is seeking to fill the role of Admin & Project Services Manager, a position responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the Administrative and Project Services section within OPDM. The successful candidate will supervise administrative and legal support staff, coordinate workflow and operational processes, and support OPDM leadership in managing division operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing administrative support functions related to commission advising, docket management, and legal support services, monitoring workflow distribution and operational priorities, coordinating onboarding and training activities, supporting records management and operational compliance efforts, and ensuring administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently in support of the Commission's operations.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants must meet all the required minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, legal studies, paralegal studies, criminal justice, communications, or a related field. Three years of full-time progressively responsible experience managing or overseeing administrative operations, legal support functions, or project coordination activities in a legal, governmental, regulatory, or similarly complex professional environment. Two years of supervisory or management experience involving staff oversight, workflow coordination, or operational management. Additional relevant full-time experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
