Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide surgical support through specialized technical procedures to ensure smooth operative processes and patient safety. Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and sterile surgical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams by preparing and servicing instruments and supplies.
• Transport patients and equipment safely within the surgical suite.
• Maintain sterile environments by cleaning and turning over operating rooms.
• Support heavy lifting tasks and move equipment or supplies as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment and patient transport.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay compliant with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Ohio license in the specialty applied for, with compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward.
• Hold a BLS certification and a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate at least 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty.
• Provide two managerial or supervisory references from the past 12 months.
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Be willing to work a night shift (2pm-10:30pm) and flexible orientation hours.
