Rent Subsidiary Program Administrator

RENT SUBSIDY PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR
The Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA) is seeking a Rental Assistance Administrator to manage the Section 8 Subsidy Program Branch. The incumbent of the position will be responsible for overall administration of the Branch operations to include: Eligibility screening Housing subsidy assistance Housing choice voucher issuance Housing assistance payments Housing quality standards Client and landlord customer service Minimum Qualification Requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelors degree preferably in business administration, real estate, public administration, social work or related field. Specialized Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience in public housing administration, real estate management, or related field. Supervisory Experience: Three (3) years of supervisory experience in the field of public housing administration, real estate management or related field. Note: This position is exempt non-civil service and is on continuous recruitment until filled. HPHA is an equal opportunity employer.
