This contract opportunity provides flexibility, with positions available for both in-person professionals near El Paso, IL and virtual educators. You’ll work 35 hours per week, collaborating with school staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• LBS 1 certification (required)
• Valid and active Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience engaging K-12 students with varied learning needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt lessons and implement IEPs effectively
• Comfortable with remote education technology, if applying virtually

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and deliver individualized instruction for students with special needs
• Assess student abilities and progress; write and execute IEPs in partnership with other staff and families
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and administrators
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and relevant professional development
• Foster a welcoming, student-centered classroom (either on campus or virtually)
• Maintain accurate student records and adhere to compliance standards
