Get to Know Your Team Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000‑square‑foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting‑edge technology, and patient‑focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. Responsibilities This RN Residency Program offers a 12‑week intensive training based in our Med/Surg units including Post‑Op, Ortho, and General Medical. Position Details: Full‑time role with varied shifts during training and transitioning to night shift after residency completion. As a part of Mountainside’s Registered Nurse Residency Program, you will successfully learn and be able to complete the following: Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care Collect patient’s health data Analyze assessment data in determining patient problems Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes Implement interventions identified in the plan of care Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing Conduct discharge planning, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teaching Maintain confidentiality with all information Perform any and all other duties as assigned Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or will obtain by August 2026. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Jobs
