Job Summary Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)! This position accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience Associate’s Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA High school diploma/GED and completed an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician) Certification Preferred MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as judged by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory Physical, Exertion, and Sensory - Medium Where You'll Work St. Thomas More Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, is the cornerstone of health care services for Fremont County and surrounding southern Colorado communities.
