Conduct routine and advanced clinical tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-consistent with established protocols.
Evaluate results for precision, identify and rectify errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
Ensure a tidy, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teamwork within healthcare settings.
