Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy by analyzing results, troubleshooting discrepancies, and conducting preventative maintenance and calibration on lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as required.
• Perform thorough documentation of procedures, train new staff or students, and uphold high quality standards in the laboratory.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
