Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine as well as advanced clinical laboratory tests, such as chemistry and immunology, following established protocols closely.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for assessment as required.
• Comprehensively document all laboratory procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science is required, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of hiring.
• It's essential to maintain current certification throughout your employment.
