Radiation Therapist PRN Statesville NC Radiation TherapyPerforms a variety of technical tasks associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation to patients predominately adult and geriatric as prescribed by the physician. Participates in treatment planning custom block and immobilization device design and fabrication dosimetry calculations and quality control and assurance. Assists in training of support personnel. Has full access to patient health information.Shift: Days PRNRequirements:Must be ARRT certified in Radiation Therapy.Minimum 1 year experience as a Staff Therapist in a modern Radiation Therapy center is preferred.BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red CrossMust possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending stooping standing and sitting for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Also moving patients lifting accessory equipment lots of walking pushing wheelchairs and stretchers.
