Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee nursing home operations to ensure high-quality patient care
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Maintain effective communication across interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of care
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop nursing staff
• Manage nursing department budgets and resource allocation
• Implement strategies to improve quality of care and operational efficiency
• Address patient, family, and staff concerns related to nursing care
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy environment for residents and staff
• Stay current with nursing best practices, regulatory updates, and healthcare trends
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to develop individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum 5 years of nursing management experience OR 7 years of nursing experience (or combination of both)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Long-Term Care nursing required
