Equipment Coordinator

· Create, standardize, and refine Standard Operating Procedures for equipment moves · Contact vendors and understand all the variables for pre and post-moves for all pieces of new and existing equipment · Schedule and phase out commissioning/decommissioning on equipment within technical research and manufacturing spaces to minimize downtime on research, development, and testing · Create a plan and schedule for each piece of equipment and keep cross-functional partners informed including Facilities and Workplace Planning teams · Manage external vendors for equipment calibrations, trainings, and Corrective Maintenance if applicable · Work with Facilities and Workplace Planning to ensure equipment manufacturer deliveries are on schedule, and any special crating/packaging is facilitated · Partner with Health & Safety to identify chemical needs, and how to best store and secure them · Identify and confirm, with stakeholders, if additional items need to be moved, stored temporarily, or purged such as furniture, IT equipment, etc. · Be the coordinator between Workplace Planning, Facilities Project Management and cross functional partners in regard to timelines and schedules · Be able to lift 50lbs · Report onsite daily (Sunnyvale & Fremont locations) EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
