Release Train Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach / Data Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics and features and the value delivered by an Agile Release Train while also maintaining and enhancing a Tableau reporting system. The ideal candidate will facilitate Release Train ceremonies, manage dependencies, and use their technical skills in Python, SQL, and Tableau to generate and enhance reports. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. Responsibilities: Facilitate Release Train ceremonies and manage dependencies Report the health of epic/feature delivery and overall program increment Promote agile principles and mindset through coaching Ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly Protect the Trains from disruptions and drive continuous improvement Requirements: Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team) Proficient in Python for developing data processing pipelines, implementing statistical models, and utilizing libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and create stored procedures in SQL Server Strong proficiency in Tableau for building interactive dashboards, creating calculated fields, and designing data visualizations Skilled in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports, designing data models, and creating DAX measures Hands-on experience with Alteryx building automated workflows for data cleansing, blending, and transformation Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Process and detail-oriented with the ability to foster strong collaboration among team members Self-motivation, self-direction, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment Desired skills: Agile Acumen Flawless Execution Problem Solving and Influencing skills Ability to work with stakeholders and team members to extract requirements and support applications Polished and professional in phone and email communications Ability to interact with senior management under highly demanding conditions Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
