SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Astound is seeking a driven Direct Sales Representative to join our Sales & Business Development team in the telecommunications industry. In this field-based role, you'll prospect and close new residential and small business customers for our high-speed internet, TV, and phone services. You'll conduct in-person consultations, present tailored broadband, WiFi, and streaming solutions, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Working in a fast-paced, customer-first culture, you'll collaborate with local teams, represent Astound in the community, and grow your career with innovative, fiber-rich technologies focused on reliability and service.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new residential and small business customers for Astound's internet, TV, and phone services in assigned territory.
- Conduct in-person consultations to assess customer needs and recommend tailored broadband, video, and voice solutions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics.
- Execute door-to-door and field sales activities, events, and community outreach to build brand presence.
- Prepare and present service proposals, pricing, and promotional offers while clearly explaining product features and benefits.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer information, orders, and follow-up activities in CRM tools.
- Collaborate with Sales & Business Development teammates and local marketing to optimize territory coverage.
- Stay current on Astound's product portfolio, competitive offerings, and promotions to effectively position solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer service from first contact through installation and activation follow-up.
- Represent Astound's culture and values in the community, maintaining a professional and customer-first approach.
