This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to recruitment, project support, and administrative support within the HR department. The HR Intern will play a crucial role in managing job postings, employee life cycle, project support, and data management, while also providing essential administrative support to the team. The HR Intern will develop skills in employee lifecycle, HR Operations, and project support.Essential Duties & FunctionsAssist HR Generalist with Operational ProjectsSupport data collection, analysis, and reporting for HR initiatives and process improvement projects.Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and project documentation in collaboration with HR project leadsCoordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, and communicationMaintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee personnel recordsProvide general administrative support to the HR teamPartner with HR team on communication projectsAssist with internal and external communicationsDocument new procedures and update existing procedures as neededPartner with Industrial Talent ServicesSupport recruitment activities for salary positionsAssist on Talent Campaign deployment with HR Generalist supportQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge of Human Resources principles and procedures Knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn and navigate other computer systems Ability to operate standard office equipment Attention to detail & strong problem-solving skills Strong sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations High sense of urgency and flexibility Strong customer service skills and a collaborative approach Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, in EnglishWork is performed largely in an office environment and on the manufacturing plant floor. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 30 hours a week. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Fine motor skills for operating tools or machinery. Work in hot, cold, or humid environments. Occasional exposure to loud machinery or equipment.
