Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift. This position requires a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with overflow oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, including overflow oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changing conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record system (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Active RN license with Nursys License Verification.
• Current certification card relevant to nursing practice.
• Skills checklist and work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Reliable references to support application.
