Associate Manager

Express is seeking an Associate Manager to join our team at the Deer Park store. The Associate Manager supports the store manager in managing store operations, recruiting, management, training and sales functions, drives productivity, compliance with company policies, and creates a great in-store shopping experience for our retail customers.

Key responsibilities include attracting, hiring, developing, inspiring, and retaining top talent; supporting an environment which encourages an exceptionally high level of store morale; focusing all store associates on creating an environment built on teamwork and inspiring a "one team" mentality; coaching, teaching, training, recognizing, and managing all aspects of performance and development for all store associates; identifying high performing store associates and assisting in their growth; developing and maximizing the success of store associates to achieve sales potential and customer experience; managing all aspects of daily store operations; ensuring all store associates have clarity on goals and action plans; providing feedback to help support the creation of clear action plans that optimize results; managing and delegating workload and ensuring execution of plans and strategies across the store; maintaining adherence to Company Policies and ensuring the safety of store associates and customers; managing merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations, throughout the store; optimizing sales/operations opportunity, by leading the associates consistently executes merchandising strategies, operations, loyalty programs, and other company initiatives; building an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time; supporting and developing a store environment focused on consistently delivering a great in-store customer experience; resolving customer complaints to a positive outcome; creating a culture of proactive customer engagement to exceed our customer's expectations; driving loyalty and credit card acquisition through an engaged store team; creating positive in-store experience through visual standards; and other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor.

Required experience and qualifications include education: high school or equivalent; years of experience: 3-5 of relevant job experience; proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers); meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours; meets physical requirements; previous retail experience preferred; proven ability to drive sales results; strong supervisory, communication, and customer service skills; minimum of two years relevant experience; and prior sales management experience.

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills, and experience of the candidate.

$24.00 - $34.40 per hour
