Customer Service Position

We are a structured, professional insurance agency operating multiple locations. Our agency is built around clear roles, accountability, teamwork, and long-term employment. This is not a sales position. This is not a remote position. This is a customer-facing operational role that serves as a critical part of the agency's daily success. This role is not for everyone. Every day you will work with customers who may be: frustrated about insurance rates, upset about billing issues, confused about coverage, stressed about accidents or claims, impatient or emotional. The successful person in this role remains calm, professional, and focused on solving problems without taking customer emotions personally. If difficult conversations drain you or stay with you long after they happen, this role will likely not be a good fit. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for: answering inbound customer calls, processing policy service requests, managing service tasks and follow-up activities, scheduling customer review appointments, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting Account Managers and Sales team members, escalating advisory matters appropriately. This role is responsible for execution, follow-through, and workflow control.

Successful Customer Service Representative: remain calm during difficult customer interactions, stay professional under pressure, follow processes consistently, complete work thoroughly, maintain accurate documentation, take ownership of problems until they are resolved, separate customer frustration from personal criticism, show up consistently and reliably.

You may be a strong fit if you: remain composed when others are upset, communicate confidently and professionally, do not avoid difficult conversations, handle correction and feedback well, take ownership of your responsibilities, value routine and structure, follow established processes, prefer long-term stability over constant change, have demonstrated reliability in previous employment. Prior insurance experience is helpful but not required. Character, resilience, professionalism, and reliability are more important than industry experience.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM start commitment. In-office position (no remote). Punctuality and attendance are critical to this role.

Compensation: Base salary: $38,000 – $42,000 (based on experience and stability history), quarterly performance bonus, paid time off, 401(k) match after one year, group health, vision and dental insurance available insurance available.
