Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Manage telephone triage with professionalism, offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education.Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and report abnormal symptoms to physicians, documenting all findings thoroughly. Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and accurately enter billing information.Support physicians during testing and treatment procedures, including applying splints and dressings. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary testing or admissions, and handle referrals. Assist with minor surgeries and physical exams, securing consents for invasive procedures and immunizations. Provide patient education materials and ensure comprehension of treatment and medication usage. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring exam rooms are clean and orderly. Sterilize instruments and verify equipment functionality.Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic clinical environment.Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required. This position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest United States.
