Job Details:

• Physician Assistant role within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, partnering closely with a reputable plastic surgeon
• Practice within both ambulatory and OR intraoperative settings
• Ambulatory and outpatient responsibilities include postoperative follow-up appointments and office-based procedures
• Intraoperative first assist responsibilities include both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a primary focus on breast reduction surgery and post-bariatric body contouring
• Limited inpatient rounding may be included
• Outpatient practice locations include Norwich and the Southeastern Connecticut shoreline
• Intraoperative work performed at a local hospital facility
• Monday through Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements
• Consistent OR time provided
• Continual opportunities for growth and advancement within an academic plastic surgery department
• Reimbursement available for CME, professional society membership, licensure, and malpractice
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program required
• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
• Certification as a Physician Assistant required
• Plastic surgery experience highly preferred
• Surgical experience preferred
• Prior experience as a PA highly preferred
