$75,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Expediting Project Manager to manage building violations, permit filings, zoning approvals, and Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and other city agencies. This role involves direct coordination with contractors, developers, and property owners to ensure timely project completion and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee expediting projects, including permits, violations, zoning filings, and C of O applications.
Communicate directly with DOB and other agencies to track filings and resolve issues.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on all required paperwork and documentation.
Provide regular updates and clear guidance to clients (contractors, developers, and property owners).
Research and resolve building code and compliance issues.
Maintain organized records and ensure filings meet all requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in expediting, construction administration, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of NYC DOB procedures, permits, and zoning/building codes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project tracking tools.
