We're recruiting a Market Development Manager for an established national provider of industrial cooling technology services. The company helps customers keep critical equipment running through maintenance, cleaning, repairs and construction services.

Your focus: find the opportunity, reach the right people and build the relationship. You'll have experienced sales engineers supporting technical conversations and developing solutions alongside you.

What you'll do

• Build new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, account research and consistent follow-up.
• Identify and connect with plant managers, maintenance managers and facility leaders.
• Use tools such as HubSpot and ZoomInfo to research accounts, manage contacts and build your pipeline.
• Secure appointments, visit customer sites and uncover maintenance and project opportunities.
• Partner with sales engineers on construction opportunities and learn to quote cleaning and maintenance services.
• Develop repeat business through ongoing service relationships and multi-site opportunities.
• Organize your territory and schedule to make customer visits productive.

What you bring

• At least three years of B2B sales experience, with examples of business you generated yourself.
• Confidence picking up the phone, reaching unfamiliar decision makers and following up beyond the first attempt.
• Comfort using CRM systems and prospecting tools to find and develop opportunities.
• Curiosity about technical products and the operational challenges customers face.
• Accountability for your activity, pipeline and results.

Experience selling industrial services, HVAC, chillers, pumps, heaters, water treatment or mechanical maintenance is especially relevant. Strong outbound sales ability matters more than knowing cooling towers on day one.

• $90,000–$120,000 base salary , depending on experience.
• Commission calculated at 10% of gross margin , subject to the compensation plan.

Expect approximately 50% travel initially , potentially settling closer to 30–35% once established , depending on the territory and business needs. Face-to-face customer relationships are an important part of the role.
