We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and highly responsible Bilingual Assistant Manager to join our dedicated team in Covina.
Because we serve a diverse patient community, fluently speaking both English and Mandarin is required. We prioritize integrity, a strong work ethic, and team spirit above all else— we are fully prepared to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude and a desire to help patients managing chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assistance: Assist pain management physicians with routine examinations, clinical evaluations, and specialized pain procedures.
- Patient Intake: Accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, and current pain levels/symptoms with great attention to detail.
- Patient Comfort & Care: Demonstrate deep empathy, patience, and effective communication to help reassure and calm patients who are anxious or in pain.
- Room Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sanitize examination and procedure rooms to maintain a safe, spotless clinical environment.
- EHR & Admin Support: Efficiently operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient records; handle high-volume phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Core Values (Essential): Strong sense of responsibility, exceptional integrity, and a team-first mindset.
- Language Skills (Required): Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Outstanding telephone and in-person English communication skills are an absolute must.
- Language Skills (Bonus): Conversational fluency in Cantonese or Spanish is a strong plus.
- Clinical Skills (Bonus): Experience or certification in phlebotomy (blood drawing) is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills; prior experience using EHR/EMR software is preferred.
- Background: Medical terminology knowledge or outpatient clinic experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for candidates meeting language and character requirements.
