Senior Accountant

Job Title

Maintain and manage the fixed asset subledger, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposals.

Ensure fixed asset accounting complies with GAAP and company policies.

Prepare, reconcile, and submit borrowing base certificates.

Coordinate borrowing base reporting with internal and external stakeholders.

Reconcile sales tax filings and related accounts across multiple states.

Monitor and respond to tax-related communications and inquiries.

Track, manage, and amortize prepaid expenses on a monthly basis.

Ensure prepaid expenses are accurately recorded within financial reporting periods.

Monitor, analyze, and report on Marketing and Customer-Based accruals and deductions.

Validate promotional activity accounting and related deductions.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Assist with financial reporting and operational accounting functions.

Report food safety and quality concerns through established procedures when necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA preferred.

Minimum 12-15 years of progressive accounting experience.

Experience within CPG or manufacturing environments preferred.

Strong understanding of GAAP.

Experience with NetSuite is Required.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
