Tax Senior

We have been a top firm and serving the Central Jersey area since 1996. Our firm services a diverse client base within the tri-state area providing highly personalized and comprehensive accounting, audit, tax and business consulting services.

Responsibilities: 

Serve as a direct point of contact for clients - advising on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and compliance matters
Prepare complex Federal, State, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizations
Reviewing mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy
Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff within the Tax Services Department
Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry regulations

 

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting
-Working towards CPA license, or CPA certification (preferred)
-3+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with a strong background in 1040s, 1120s, and 1065s
-Excellent analytical and technical tax skills 
-Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
-Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
