The City of Mount Airy is hiring After School Program Assistants for the upcoming school year. These are Part-Time positions with no benefits. The After School Assistants will assist the Family Services Program Supervisor for the daily supervision and care of children in kindergarten to sixth grade and will lead a variety of recreational activities. Employee must be able to work Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 5:30pm, however the hours could vary depending on school holiday schedules. Also, additional work hours may be available in other childcare areas as needed/requested. Work is performed under the supervision of a higher-level supervisor and is evaluated through observation, conferences, and the quality of effectiveness of work completed.
