Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with shifts available from 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, and 4:30pm to 4:00am Monday through Thursday. Your role will involve operating stamping machines to produce metal parts, utilizing precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and reading and interpreting work orders and prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping machines to produce metal parts.
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precise measurements.
• Read and interpret work orders and prints.
• Communicate effectively with the Production Supervisor and Material Handler.
• Report any issues or miss-hits to the Production Supervisor.
• Document labor times and part counts accurately.
• Attend the press at all times during operation.
• Troubleshoot any operational issues or malfunctions.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean and well-maintained manufacturing facility. The company has been at this location for five years and continues to grow steadily. The work environment includes a structured schedule with two paid 15-minute breaks and is supported by modern systems while maintaining a small company feel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
