This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities and Qualifications Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience on each visit. Some managers also lead Departments, overseeing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results back to their teams and other managers. Managers responsible for the Guest Service Department must ensure crew and managers deliver excellent customer service, properly execute sales promotions, train service staff in procedures, and keep the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service. Managers responsible for the Kitchen Department must ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains safety standards, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. Managers responsible for the People Department must hire qualified crew, train them effectively, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and recognize and motivate employees throughout their tenure. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate is a positive team player with a flexible schedule, enjoys a fast‑paced environment, and is at least 18 years old.
