Location: Des Moines, IA

Specialization: Labor & Delivery

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2284 - $2752 | Shift: 3x12 Days

Become a vital member of our healthcare team in Des Moines, IA, where you will support mothers and their newborns throughout the labor and delivery process. This position demands proficiency in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and both C-section and vaginal deliveries. You will work in a vibrant environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1-2, ensuring individualized and attentive care.

Deliver comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients
Oversee antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries
Administer medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
Provide support across various campuses as necessary
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last year
Active RN license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license
Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
Experience with EPIC EMR
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
