We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have experience processing high volumes of invoices, maintaining vendor records, and supporting month-end close activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices received from multiple sources and accurately enter data into the company's DOS-based ERP system.
• Manage the invoice approval process for general operating expense invoices.
• Coordinate effectively with operations managers, general managers, shipping personnel, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Match freight invoices to internal cost reconciliation records.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor ACH payment information in the accounting system.
• Prepare month-end accruals for unpaid invoices.
• File invoices, remittance advices, and other accounts payable documentation.
• Create and maintain wire payment templates and enter wire instructions through the company's online banking portal.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $29.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
