Job Summary

The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing communications and marketing programs and strategic plans for the entire enterprise regarding specific campaigns, general and specific branding, external and internal communications and messaging, managing staff and outside vendors/consultants/agencies in creative and marketing development efforts. 

The Communications and Marketing Manager translates the Company’s vision and mission into marketable and saleable formats, presentation and projects. Conducts market research and makes recommendations for sustaining and/or increasing the viability of existing and future products and services. Manages the Company website, corporate and special events, advertising, public relations, promotions, campaigns and other communications and marketing programs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees communications and marketing efforts, programs and systems for the enterprise. 
• Develops and implements communications and marketing strategies for the Company on line with the Company’s vision and mission to its members and providers. 
• Manages the creation and publication of marketing material in line with approved marketing and sales plans and objectives. 
• Plans and implements promotional and enrollment campaigns and supports sales efforts on both a broad and specific scale. 
• Evaluates the impact and success of communications and marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives. 
• Leads the execution of communications, marketing, internal and external events and campaigns and other programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the correct internal processes. 
• Responsible for supporting marketing/sales targets and goals. 
• Works from a foundation of deep business, marketing/sales, and operating expertise to build enterprise excellence.
• Makes recommendations for improvement of processes, programs, productivity and services. 
• Maintains external relationships and builds trust-based relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. 
• Maintains a clear growth roadmap and secures the resources needed to deliver on that growth. 
• Responsible for working with appropriate team members and/or vendors to establish new product lines, determine program/plan rates and develop administrative, operating and required regulatory forms and supporting regulatory compliance. 
• Maintains a high level of staff accountability. 
• Performs any and all additional duties as requested and directed for this position.

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent directly related progressive experience

• Primary Location: Long Beach, California
• Job Schedule: Full time
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift: Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Overtime as needed
• Travel: No
