This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference during some of the most important moments in patients' lives. You'll be the first point of contact for patients and their families while playing a critical role in supporting emergency care operations.

As a Patient Registration Specialist, you'll receive cross-training across multiple areas of the Emergency Department, giving you a dynamic and engaging work experience every day.

• Welcome patients, families, and visitors to the Emergency Department.
• Register arriving patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Collect identification and insurance documentation.
• Collaborate with hospital security and staff to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support during stressful situations.

• Register patients arriving via ambulance or emergency transport.
• Monitor incoming patient alerts and emergency notifications.
• Support the emergency care team by ensuring accurate and timely patient information is entered into the system.

• Respond quickly to registration requests throughout the department.
• Assist in identifying patients and gathering necessary demographic information.
• Work closely with nurses, EMTs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate and efficient patient registration during critical situations.

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Quick thinker who can remain professional under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work locations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, IN.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Avon,IN.
