Your Role in Patient Care

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing suitable medications and therapies in alignment with your professional practicum
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic conditions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for seamless and holistic patient care
• Documenting clearly and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Idaho
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure them within 90 days)
