Technical Support Analyst

Our client is an American global computer security software company and the world's largest dedicated security technology company. Job Description Description This role will require Spanish, read, write speak, Portuguese is a plus but not required. Candidate will possess working knowledge of PC and mobile hardware architecture as required to assemble a mobile or desktop system from components and update components in already existing systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems as required to install the OS on a new computer, update the OS as required by patches or changes in the hardware configuration, troubleshoot functional and performance problems. Preferred working knowledge and experience with hardware and software testing/validation. Qualifications Requires fluent writing and speaking skills in Spanish. 1+ year of experience in customer care/customer support in the following areas: Operating Systems such as UNIX, Linux and Windows Understanding of Firewalls. Intrusion prevention systems IPS. Basic level knowledge of security and information gathering tools like nmap, nessus, nslookup, traceroute, hping, wireshark, tcpdump, netcat, netstat, nbtstat, ete. Working knowledge with MS SQL, Routing protocols TCP / IP, OSPF etc., HTML, ATM, Token Ring, ISDN, and Ethernet. Preferred qualifications In addition to Spanish, Portuguese would be a strong plus. Basic experience with programming/scripting PERL, JAVA, C, C++, SQL and DB2. Basic Vulnerability and Threat analysis skills. Network or security related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CCNP. Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements. Ability to communicate at multiple levels with customers i.e. technical / management. Excellent at providing positive customer service. Advanced writing and verbal skills.
