Responsibilities: • What You'll Do: You’ll manage a sophisticated litigation caseload and play an important role in developing case strategy from inception through resolution. Your responsibilities may include: • Managing civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution • Developing creative, practical, and strategic litigation strategies • Conducting complex legal research and analysis • Drafting and arguing motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents • Managing discovery and taking and defending depositions • Representing clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and other legal forums • Preparing cases for trial and participating in trial advocacy • Communicating proactively with clients and providing exceptional legal guidance • Collaborating with attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters • Identifying opportunities to improve case strategy, client service, and firm processes You’ll have the opportunity to do substantive legal work—not simply manage a file and chase deadlines. Qualifications: • What We're Looking For: You should have: J.D. from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership in good standing 5+ years of civil litigation experience Demonstrated experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Strong communication and client relationship skills Excellent judgment and attention to detail The ability to independently manage complex matters while working collaboratively with a team A proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset • Compensation & Benefits A genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service Education law experience is a plus, but it is not required. Compensation:
$160,000-$220,000 per year
