Occupational Therapist (OT) Department: Rehabilitation/Therapy Employment Type: Flexible Location: Stratford Manor Rehabilitation & Care Center Reporting To: Kerry Vulcano Description Occupational Therapist for Stratford Manor Rehabilitation & Care Center in West Orange, NJ. Full-time position. Responsibilities: Measure and record residents’ function, ADLs, self-care, and functional mobility. Observe residents and write evaluations, progress reports, discharges, and all necessary documentation. Assist residents in carrying out specific exercises. Treat residents with a variety of techniques. Help residents use necessary equipment and devices. Educate residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle and improve function. Maintain residents’ confidence by keeping information confidential. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to the entire team’s effort and goals. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited OT program. Current New Jersey State OT license. Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
