Follett Denver is a proud member of the Middleby Corporation family of companies.Follett Denver currently has an opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team!We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing materials and products in the facility. The position involves loading and unloading goods and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely and efficient manner. This position also requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect material, unload incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of deliveries against orders, and inspect for damage.Transport and load material, supplies, and finished goods with forklifts, skids, or other material handling equipment.Stock job transfers and fills job requirements.Prints pull sheetsInspects purchased goods for damage during the receiving process.Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping.Maintains & controls proper labeling and identification of purchased goods in the parts storage area.Maintains a safe, clean, and organized area.Performs other duties as assigned.Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailMath and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareGood attention to detail - ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and in shipments.Equipment Operation - Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks, and any other material handling equipment (certification may be required).Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of related experience requiredMust be able to read and follow written work instructionsNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
