Nutritional Supervisor

We are hiring a Nutritional Supervisor to work in our Food Services Department! To ensure the accurate, safe, and timely service of regular and therapeutic diets to community members in Assisted Living, GMC, and the Elmwood Care Center. Provide and maintain availability of meal snacks for community members in Elmwood Care Center and GMC. Maintain a sanitary work environment. To ensure the accurate, safe, and timely service of regular and therapeutic diets to community members in Assisted Living, GMC, and the Elmwood Care Center. Provide and maintain availability of meal snacks for community members in Elmwood Care Center and GMC. Maintain a sanitary work environment. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities: Supervises and implements the nutritional care of the health center residents. Serves as a Trayline Supervisor by coordinating activities of workers or service employees engaged in the food operation, dining rooms, health care facility, and assisted living. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the department for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Visits residents for food preferences and assists residents with menu selections as needed Oversee the resident dining services to ensure quality control of food and clinical accuracy of the tray. Department Safety meetings to keep abreast of overall needs within the community and the department. Responsible for issuing fair and equitable disciplinary actions and performance reviews for immediate staff.

JOB SPECIFACTIONS:

Full-Time AM/PM SHIFT Tuesday-Saturday | 10:00am-6:30pm

EXPERIENECE/ SKILLS:

1 year supervisor experience in long term or healthcare Serve Safe and CDM preferred High School diploma or GED Good communication skills required. Positive interpersonal skills to efficiently deal with residents and staff.
